The college is located in Tikrit City, the center of Salahddin Governorate that extend between Baghdad
and Mosul, near Tikrit Teaching Hospital.

TUCOM was established in
1989, it follows a problem-based, community based and student center curriculum. The students will graduate after six years
of study, the first three years are basic studies and the other years are clinical. Postgraduate studies in TUCOM are
either basic (M.Sc degrees) or clinical (Diploma degrees).
